Managed ERP and application support

A recurring support arrangement for the business systems you already run. Incidents are investigated to root cause, small changes are delivered in a controlled way, and a senior contact in the Netherlands reviews the service with you every month.

The problem we solve

When ERP support depends on one busy person, the business carries the risk

Most mid-sized organisations run Business Central, Finance and Supply Chain Management, an older NAV system or SAP Business One with a thin layer of in-house knowledge: one key user who knows the workarounds, a partner who answers tickets on a best-effort basis, and a backlog of small improvements nobody has time for.

The symptoms are familiar. Month-end closes late because a posting error takes days to diagnose. A warehouse process stops when a label printer integration fails. Users build spreadsheets around the system instead of fixing it. The original implementation partner has moved on to new projects and responds slowly, or charges project rates for every question.

  • Tickets logged by email with no visibility of status, priority or response times
  • Recurring incidents that are patched but never resolved at the root cause
  • Release updates and Microsoft waves applied without regression testing
  • Knowledge concentrated in one or two people, with no documentation
  • Small enhancement requests waiting months because support and projects compete for the same consultant

Who this is for

  • Dutch and international SMEs and mid-market organisations running Dynamics 365 Business Central, Finance and Supply Chain Management, Dynamics NAV, Customer Engagement or SAP Business One
  • Finance, operations and IT managers who need predictable support without hiring a full in-house application team
  • Organisations whose implementation partner has stepped back and who need a dependable second line
  • Logistics, wholesale and distribution, manufacturing and professional services firms where the ERP is operationally critical

What the service covers

Managed application support is a recurring arrangement with a defined scope, agreed response arrangements and a monthly service rhythm. It covers second- and third-line support (we work with your key users or internal first line), configuration changes, small enhancements, testing of releases and upgrades, documentation and knowledge transfer.

The service is led from the Netherlands by a senior consultant who owns the relationship, the service reviews and the escalation path. Day-to-day analysis, configuration, development and testing are performed by qualified, certified in-house consultants at the Neurosuite Ibadan Hub, working inside your environment through the access model agreed at onboarding. You deal with one accountable team, one contract in euros and one service report.

Activities within the service

  • Second- and third-line application support where appropriately scoped, with agreed priority definitions
  • Incident investigation, root-cause analysis and permanent problem resolution
  • System configuration, enhancements and continuous improvement within an agreed monthly capacity
  • Release, regression and upgrade testing, including Microsoft release waves and SAP patches
  • Support documentation, knowledge-base articles and key-user training
  • Monthly service reviews with incident trends, backlog status and improvement recommendations
  • Stakeholder communication during major incidents and planned changes

Platforms covered

  • Dynamics 365 Business Central
  • Dynamics 365 Finance and Supply Chain Management
  • Dynamics NAV
  • Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement
  • Power BI
  • Power Platform
  • SAP Business One

Common use cases

Month-end and finance support for a multi-entity wholesaler

Posting errors, intercompany mismatches and reconciliation differences are investigated the same day they are logged, with a root-cause note added to the knowledge base so the same issue does not recur next period.

Warehouse and logistics continuity

Pick, pack, shipment and EDI processes in Business Central or F&SCM are monitored, incidents are triaged by business impact, and workarounds are communicated to the floor while the permanent fix is built and tested.

Legacy NAV kept stable while a migration is planned

An older Dynamics NAV system continues to receive fixes, small changes and user support, with changes documented so they can be carried into Business Central later.

Release wave testing for Business Central online

Before each Microsoft update is applied, your critical processes are regression-tested in a sandbox, issues are reported with evidence, and the update is scheduled with the business.

Power BI report maintenance

Existing dashboards keep working when the data model, source tables or licences change, and report requests from users are handled through the same ticket flow.

Practical deliverables

  • Support service description with scope, priority matrix and agreed response arrangements
  • Onboarding pack: access model, contact matrix, escalation path and ticket workflow
  • Resolved incidents with root-cause notes and a maintained knowledge base
  • Tested and documented configuration changes and small enhancements
  • Regression test evidence for releases and upgrades
  • Monthly service report and review meeting with improvement recommendations

What you can expect

  • A documented, accountable support arrangement instead of dependence on individuals
  • Fewer repeat incidents because problems are resolved at the root cause
  • Controlled updates and releases with test evidence
  • A steady flow of small improvements delivered within a predictable monthly budget

How an engagement runs

  1. Support assessment

We review your current system landscape, open issues, customisations, integrations and existing support arrangements, and agree what second- and third-line support should cover.

  2. Service design

Scope, priorities, response arrangements, monthly capacity, the access and security model and the commercial structure are documented in a service description you approve.

  3. Onboarding

Accounts are provisioned with least-privilege access, the knowledge transfer from your key users or previous partner is completed, and the ticket flow is tested end to end.

  4. Steady-state support

Incidents and requests are handled within the agreed arrangements; the Dutch-facing lead stays close to your business and escalations.

  5. Monthly review

Trends, backlog, risks and improvement ideas are reviewed together, and the scope is adjusted as your business changes.

Scope and delivery boundaries

  • First-line support (password resets, basic how-to questions) normally stays with your internal key users; we train and support them
  • Infrastructure, network and Microsoft 365 tenant administration are out of scope unless agreed separately
  • Response arrangements are agreed per contract and depend on coverage hours; we do not promise fixed resolution times for problems that depend on Microsoft, SAP or third-party vendors
  • Larger changes are scoped as mini-projects with their own estimate rather than consumed from support capacity without agreement

Frequently asked questions

What response arrangements do you offer?

Response arrangements are agreed per contract and documented in the service description. They typically distinguish business-critical incidents (for example, a stopped posting routine or warehouse process) from normal incidents and change requests, with coverage during Dutch business hours (08:00 to 17:00 CET, Monday to Friday) as standard. Extended coverage can be discussed where the delivery team can support it.

Who actually does the work?

Qualified, certified in-house consultants at the Neurosuite Ibadan Hub perform analysis, configuration, development and testing, under the supervision of a senior consultant in the Netherlands who owns your relationship and service reviews. No work is subcontracted to third parties without your agreement.

Can you take over support from our current partner?

Yes. Transition starts with a support assessment and a structured knowledge transfer: documentation review, walkthroughs of customisations and integrations, and a shadowing period if your current partner cooperates. We also work alongside an existing partner where you want a second line for specific areas, such as reporting or integrations.

How is managed support priced?

Managed support is priced as a monthly arrangement based on coverage hours, included capacity and the complexity of your landscape. We do not publish list prices because the right structure differs per organisation; after the assessment you receive a proposal with a clear monthly fee and what it includes. See the pricing page for the factors involved.

How do you access our systems?

Through named accounts with least-privilege roles, multi-factor authentication and, where selected for the engagement, an EU-hosted virtual desktop so that data stays within your environment. Access is logged and reviewed periodically and revoked when the contract or a consultant assignment ends. The approach is described on our security and delivery model page.

Start with a support assessment

Tell us which systems you run, how support works today and what goes wrong most often. You receive an honest assessment and a proposal for a support arrangement that fits.
