Our commitment

Neurosuite wants everyone to be able to use this website, including people who rely on assistive technology, keyboard navigation, screen magnification or reduced motion. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA for all pages in English and Dutch.

What we have done

  • Semantic HTML with landmarks (header, navigation, main, footer), a skip link and a logical heading order on every page.
  • Keyboard-operable navigation, menus, accordions, forms, cookie preferences and language switching, with visible focus indicators.
  • Colour contrast of at least 4.5:1 for text and 3:1 for interface components and focus indicators, checked against the brand palette.
  • Form fields with visible labels, hints and validation messages linked to the field, error summaries announced to screen readers, and success states shown only after a successful submission.
  • Meaningful alternative text for informative images; decorative images are hidden from assistive technology.
  • Resizable text up to 200% and responsive layouts from 320 px wide without horizontal scrolling.
  • Respect for the reduced-motion preference; no auto-playing media or background video.
  • The site works without JavaScript: navigation, forms, cookie preferences and language switching all function with server-side fallbacks.
  • Language of each page and of the language switcher declared, so screen readers use the right pronunciation.

Known limitations

  • Some illustrations are abstract and described briefly; if you need a longer description of any image, contact us and we will provide it.
  • Linked third-party pages (for example a scheduling provider, if configured) are outside our control and may not meet the same standard.

How we test

Pages are checked at mobile, tablet and desktop widths with keyboard-only navigation, automated accessibility checks and screen reader spot checks. We review accessibility when adding new components or content and update this statement after each review.
